Mary is the radiant soul behind every laughter-filled moment in my life. Our friendship was slow to develop, but quickly became one to cherish. With a heart as big as her smile, Mary brings joy wherever she goes. She and I share a love for live music; I can't count how many concerts we have lost our voices screaming along to! Her dedication and creativity shine through everything she does, whether it is planning an unforgettable bachelorette party or being the best nurse around. Mary's unwavering love and support mean the world to me, and I am beyond grateful to have her by my side on the most special day of my life.

No one has shared more laughter, tears, losses, victories, petty squabbles, hugs, high fives, and cocktails than Alex and I. In the history of time. Ever. Alex has propped me up and put me back on my feet, figuratively and literally, more times than I can count. I would not be in the place I am nor would I be the person I am today if it was not for this guy. No better option exists to stand by me for this momentous occasion.

Tara and I were both hired at Boone Grove at the start of our teaching careers. Despite being polar opposite personalities and not knowing much about the other, we decided to room together, and it turned out to be the beginning of a wonderful friendship. Tara is the sweetest, most caring friend anyone could have. She and I quarantined through COVID together, raised a cat together, and conquered all of the obstacles that came with teaching and coaching. Needless to say, she's seen me at my worst, and somehow still keeps me around. I couldn't imagine another milestone without Tara by my side.

Little league, living AND working together, supporting one another. Being far more responsible far sooner in life than myself, Ben let me rent the basement of his first house in our early twenties. As adults life keeps us both busy, but I know if I ever need anything, Ben will always be just a phone call away.

Alice is a newer friend, but man is she a goodie. Mary, the MOH, introduced Alice and I with the idea that we will either love each other or hate each other. Turns out we are both loud and obnoxious and hit it off right away! The guest bedroom at the couple's house is basically Alice's room for when she visits. Looking forward to tearing up the dance floor with her again soon.
Matthew O'Brien

When Mr. O'Brien came into the sitcom that is my life during our seventh grade year there was no love lost there. Though that sentiment apparently did not last long as we were fraternity brothers by our freshman year of college. The amount of tom-foolery we engaged in is only shadowed by the amount of respect and regard I have for Matt. Whether it's seeking career advice, looking to play a couple rounds of a game, or just an ear for my errant complaining, I know I will always have a non-biased ear to listen.

Gaby was my roommate senior year of college. We shared lots of laughs, tears, long nights, and deep talks. What was an arrangement through a mutual friend, turned out to be a friendship of a lifetime. Gaby keeps me grounded and reminds me to always be myself. I was able to see her marry the love of her life last year, and now she will be by my side as I do the same.

Aaron was looking for a place to live, not that he was homeless or anything, but pretty much sigh unseen he was moving into my place shortly after meeting him. Flash forward years later I was looking for a place to live, not that I was homeless or anything, and Fletch used his realtor superpowers to land me in my first home. Whether it was cocktails 'til the sun came up, or the great "my carpet cleaner works better than yours" whole home twelve in the morning scrub off, I cannot think of a single instance he and I had a bad time in each others presence. And if anyone is curious, I am the superior wrestler, just ask Fletch.

Originally a friend of the groom, Jess has become one of my most favorite people. From wild adventures to heartfelt conversations, Jess has been a cherished friend and confidante in my life. With her contagious energy and genuine kindness, Jess has a knack for making everyone feel like family. When she's not busy charming everyone with her wit and warmth, you can find her spicing up her drinks with a baby bottle of Tajin.

Kevin has been one of the most supportive parties in my life, from the highest highs to the lowest lows thus far. Kindred spirits in colloquial smack talk and debate, we've spent countless hours chatting about trails and triumphs alike. One way or another, we seem to frequently engage in high stakes wagers, one of which ended in a one hundred pounds of chili con queso debt.

The scene: a bonfire, a gaggle of bros, and a warm summer night. The players: Kurtis and Matthew. The two gladiators place their feet on a predetermined line, the starting bell tolls, albeit brief a torrential flurry of feet and determination ensues. As the two fierce competitors cross the plane of greatness and glory the official belts with shock and awe "A TIE!" The great debate had been settled, the immovable object and the unstoppable force joined together that day to form one of the most legendary heterolifemate bonds this world has ever seen. From that day forward I knew Kurtis and I were one of a kind, and am honored for him to oversee the exchanging of vows coming soon to a wedding venue near you.

Marcus came in looking for a part time gig bouncing at the ol' Duff Shack while I was still managing the joint, little did I know I would be gaining a life long friend in the process. Marcus helped straighten out a good amount of the rougher edges of my life when it mattered most. Cannot wait for his floral antics to start the show.
