Do I need a visa to travel to the UK?

Answer

Yes you will need an ETA. You need to apply at least 3 days before travel. https://apply-for-an-eta.homeoffice.gov.uk/apply/electronic-travel-authorisation/easier-on-the-app

When do I have to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 1st, so we can solidify numbers with vendors. If we don't hear from you by May 1st we will assume you can not attend.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

You can have 3 seasons in one day in Edinburgh. It will be warm for Scotland, but there is a good chance it could be rainy.

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony may be outside depending on numbers, the reception will be indoors.

Can I take pictures during the Ceremony?

Answer

Please refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. Any time before or after is fine!

How do I pay for things?

Answer

You can pay with credit card (Visa/Mastercard). The currency is GBP. You don't really need cash.

Will there be transportation after the reception?

Answer

We will be in the city center, it will be easy for you to take a cab or call an uber to wherever you are staying. Public transport also runs late!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We have a certain capacity of guest we can invite to the ceremony, so if your kids are not listed in the RSVP, please reach out to Megan directly.
