Travel

The Wedding Website of Ean McGilvery and Mia Kohler
Silverton is a small town of ~700 people. The town itself has various lodging options like Hotels and AirBnBs. Silverton lodging books fast, so plan ahead! HOWEVER, nearby towns such as Durango (~1hr away), Ouray (~30-45min), Ridgway (1hr), and Montrose (1.5 Hours) have perhaps cheaper and more availability. There of course is opportunity for camping too (campgrounds, or dispersed). Reach out to us if you want some recs here (Ean is happy to provide insight). Flight wise, we've listed airports below that are closest. The cheapest is likely Denver International, however this is ~6 hours away... Fun tidbit -- There is a train that runs from Durango to Silverton this time of year (Narrow Gauge). While more-so meant for tourism than commuting, it can work as double for you if you want it to!
