Bride and Groom, duh
Officiant
I met Joe in the spring of 2018 when we became roommates in the barracks while serving in the Navy together. We quickly became the bestest of friends. He and I stayed roomates althrough out my time in the Navy, even moving into a townhouse with Josh in 2020. Joe has quite the sense humor. An afternoon spent with him is always full of laugher and impressions from his favorite movies.
Maid of Honor
Lilly and I met in 2018 at Fresno State and quickly became best friends. We lived together for a year before Nathan and I moved to Oklahoma. She’s the friend I can always count on and the one who gives me a safe space to be fully myself. I’m honored to have her standing beside me.
Best Man
I met Nick at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, where we went through boot camp together. I didn't really like Nick at first, he seemed to love the attention of the RDCs. However, he offered to pick me up from the airport when I got to Naval Air Station Lemoore and we soon started hanging out. One afternoon Nick invited me to go golfing and I "accidentally" ran him over with a golf cart. When Nick laughed it off and thought it was funny, I knew we were going to be good friends. And the rest from there is history.
Matron of Honor
Hannah and I met in 2020 through Nathan, who served in the Navy with Hannah's husband, John. Our friendship strengthened while they were deployed, and she quickly became someone I could always lean on. Warm, supportive, and quietly hilarious, she’s a blessing to have by my side.
Groomsman
If I had one phrase to describe John, it would be grill master. While in the Navy, John and his wife Hannah would often host friends and quickly became the go to place for holidays and Friday/Saturday night hangouts. Between the laugher, good food and drinks we quickly became good friends through out our time in the Navy. Aside form that, John is just a chill guy who loves his family and is an avid Bills fan.
Bridesmaid
I met Lockie in vet school, and our friendship has grown into one of my most meaningful connections. We can laugh, vent, or just exist together in the same space. She’s supported me through the toughest parts of school, and I’m so grateful to have her in my life.
Groomsman
Aaron and I go way back. I believe we met in 4th grade when we were on the same baseball team. It didn't take long for us to become the best of friends, playing pokemon together, playing and watching sports together. Aaron has been a staple in my life for almost 17 years or more and at this point is like a brother.
Bridesmaid
From the very first day of vet school, Sara and I clicked — bonding over anatomy lab and our shared sense of humor. She has a gift for making any moment lighter and for understanding what I need without me having to say it. I’m incredibly thankful for her friendship and support.
Groomsman
I met Tim at Oklahoma State. I think it's fair to say that he was one of the first real friends I made after leaving the Navy. Tim loves to play disc golf and go on long walks on the beach with his luscious long hair. When ever we play Catan (a board game we've been into lately) it seems like he's always scheming against me, but luckily he doesn't always preveil and I still manage to get the upper hand on him.
Bridesmaid
Loretta and I met in early 2020 while working at a veterinary clinic and quickly bonded over our humor, interests, and similar way of seeing the world. She’s been both a mentor and a dear friend, and I’m so grateful for the impact she’s had on my life.
Groomsman
Believe it or not, Josh is yet another friend I met while serving in the Navy. One thing I quicly found out about Josh after moving in together with Joe was the he is one hell of a cook. I had never seen anyone whip something up from nothing like he has. Some of my favorite memories with him are of us sitting down and having dinner togeher, that was very important to us, or chilling out on the couch on a Sunday afternoon watching Nascar. I just wish he wasn't such a big Texas Longhorns fan!!
Bridesmaid
Rachel and I go way back — same small town, same childhood orbit — but it was high school and the years that followed that truly solidified our friendship. Through every phase of life, she’s been my steady, comforting constant. No matter how much time passes or how life changes, I’ve always known I can turn to her. Her presence has been a grounding and meaningful part of my life, and I’m so grateful to have her with me.
Groomsman
Like Tim, I met Wes at Oklahoma state. We met in an office for veterans on campus and would often go shooting together or talk about guns. We were quickly becoming the best of friends before he decided to move away and be with his girlfriend in witchita, Kansas. What ever that means.
