About the artist
Christina McCool was born in Okinawa, Japan and spent the bulk of her time outdoors, hiking, riding her bike, drawing, writing poetry and enjoying nature. She settled in Indianapolis in 2004 after spending 4 years in the Army. She attended the Art Institute in 2007 until deciding to obtain her B.S. in Business Administration – management. She currently works for Customs and Border Protection as a Financial Program Specialist. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and painting. Her pallet is inspired by her mood, music and nature. Very little planning is involved in her paintings as her work is intuitive and flows with a beautiful combination of both magic and mayhem.
