Parker and Cassie first spoke in passing over a cooler of beers at a friend's wedding reception. It wasn't until later when Parker tried to extinguish his cigar in her take home slice of cake that Cassie even asked his name.
Parker put out on Facebook that he was going to Jazz in the Park. Cassie mentioned that she might stop by. After driving in from another state, catching an impromptu dinner with friends, and even going home to unpack, Cassie decided she might as well go to the park to check out the music. In order to see each other more in the midst of crazy work schedules and graduate school, Cassie and Parker moved into a rental house together.
In January of 2015, Parker finally convinced Cassie to get a puppy. On the 19th, we paid a shoeless man in a Walmart parking lot cash for a little ball of fur that we call Fitzgerald.
We bought out first home.
Parker dropped to one knee said a partial sentence about something with a ring in hand. Cassie interrupted him saying ABSOLUTELY.
