Our story began in one of the most unexpected places; a deployment to Egypt, and fate had a sense of humor. During one of our first encounters, I accidentally stepped on Kevin’s foot… and somehow, that simple moment changed everything. He’s from Australia, I’m from the United States, and though we came from opposite sides of the world, something just clicked. What started with an apology and a laugh turned into countless conversations, shared adventures, and a love that’s taken us across oceans. From that first step (literally) to where we are today, the rest is history, and we can’t wait to start this next chapter surrounded by all of you.

Kevin proposed in the most perfectly “us” way, a little chaotic and completely unforgettable. We were rushing to meet my friend at the Boathouse in Central Park, one of my favorite childhood places, and I was frustrated when he insisted on taking the long route. After passing a few familiar landmarks and stopping for a “quick photo” on a dock near Bow Bridge, I was flustered and ready to leave, and that’s when Kevin got down on one knee. I said yes, and Central Park instantly became even more special.
