We're getting married!

It all began in August 2019, when Marissa and Sean met through mutual friends at a professional wrestling event—funny enough, Marissa wasn’t a fan of wrestling at all. She was in her junior year at Rowan University, working on a project that required her to explore something unfamiliar. That’s how she found herself at the event, looking to interview someone… and that someone turned out to be Sean. What started as a simple conversation quickly grew into a friendship. Over time, they found themselves drawn to each other, sharing laughs, stories, and more moments together. Just days before the world changed with an onset of the pandemic in March 2020, Marissa and Sean went on their first date to the movies. That night ended with their first kiss—marking the beginning of their love story. In the summer of 2022, they moved into their first home together, now joined by their two cats, John and Apple, who instantly filled their home with love (and a little chaos). On Christmas Eve 2023, Sean proposed in the comfort of their living room, with music playing softly and gifts scattered around—a moment that was simple, heartfelt, and so perfectly them. Now, in 2025, Marissa and Sean are very excited to start the next chapter of their lives together. They can’t wait to say “I do” and celebrate the love that’s grown from something so unexpected into something so beautiful surrounded by their favorite people!
