Not technically however Chris and I have on the 'Welcome!' page a few events that we are planning to do for everyone's reference. We invite everyone to join those with us. We really want the cruise to be a way for you all to relax, have fun and then celebrate our wedding with us. Aside from the wedding itself you are not required to do anything with us so we do not have a formal itinerary for the week. Note: Outside of the current events listed on the welcome page there are some events we have not booked that we plan to do; including a couple of the on board shows and a dinner theater experience. Once these become available (around the 60-45 day mark) we will try to talk to everyone to book places at those shows together!
The cost of the cruise includes room, food and entertainment on board. You can explore things to do on the ship here: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/utopia-of-the-seas
YES! We highly recommend guests purchase the VIP pass, “The Key”. This pass has limited quantity so you will want to buy ASAP. The key includes priority boarding, access to reserved seating, fast lanes on board, internet, discounts and a relaxed disembarkation experience.
Before Arriving- Print your emailed bag tag and attach it to your luggage for room delivery. Waiting at the port is optional but adds time. Transportation & Boarding- Pack essentials like a swimsuit and sunscreen in a small carry-on tote or backpack as you won’t have access to your main bag or room first half of boarding day. Complete the safety (muster) drill immediately after boarding. This is NOT OPTIONAL, you must do it. Your meeting station is on your boarding pass/tag. Rooms- Request extras like hangers, a bed topper (on Day 1 as they run out), blankets, and water bottles. Air conditioning works only when the door is locked. Use the “Do Not Disturb” magnet if you don’t want housekeeping service or they will come daily. Drinks & Dining- Get a drink package if you expect to drink 4+ beverages daily (alcoholic or not). Main dining is free, all-inclusive, and allows multiple orders if undecided. Set up a card for onboard purchases in your app. Tips can be prepaid or paid in cash- we prepay. Essentials- Download the cruise app for navigation. Watch the below tour video to help you navigate on Day 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcnp0QKFg3Y Ports of Call- Close curtains the night before docking; nearby ships may have rooms facing yours. At Nassau, skip the free Junkanoo Beach. Instead, purchase day passes down the beach at Margaritaville or Colonial Hotels for clean, private beaches. At Cococay, base fare covers essentials. All excursions, Wi-Fi, and specialty restaurants cost extra. General Tips- Wear comfortable shoes for walking. The elevators use kiosks to assign a specific elevator (A, B, etc.). Only board your assigned elevator. Towels are unlimited but must be returned per instructions. Disembarking- Place luggage outside your room the 10pm the night before for pickup (tags/instructions provided). OR, carry your luggage off the ship yourself the next morning.
