Campus Martius Park & Woodward Avenue Shopping District

Known as the heart of downtown Detroit (and just a short walk from the hotel), Campus Martius Park is a lively gathering place surrounded by restaurants, shops, and some of the city's most recognizable landmarks. From the park, stroll along Woodward Avenue and explore a mix of national retailers, local boutiques, public art, and vibrant downtown attractions. This is Lindsay and Evan's favorite part of the city!

Greektown & Hollywood Casino

Just a short walk from the hotel, Greektown is one of Detroit's most popular entertainment districts, known for its lively atmosphere, restaurants, bars, and nightlife. At its center is Hollywood Casino at Greektown. Bet $20 on black at the roulette table - Evan's go-to casino bet!

Belle Isle Park

99 Pleasure Drive, Detroit, MI 48027

Visit Belle Isle Park, situated on a scenic island in the Detroit River just across from Lindsay and Evan's wedding venue. Belle Isle offers beautiful waterfront views, historic architecture, and unmatched views of both Detroit and Windsor, Canada. Go for a waterfront walk, wander through the beautiful gardens and visit Belle Isle Aquarium and Conservatory.

Eastern Market

One of the oldest and largest public markets in the United States, Eastern Market is one of Detroit's most iconic things to do! Visit Eastern Market on Saturday or Sunday morning to shop vendors in the market, visit local small businesses like Germak Nuts. Visit Vivio's Detroit for a bloody mary, or Eastern Market Brewing Company for a beer. Lindsay's favorite shop in Eastern Market is Devries & Co. - be sure to visit all 3 floors!

Michigan Central Station

Michigan Central Station is one of Detroit’s most iconic landmarks and a powerful symbol of the city’s revival. The station was originally opened in 1913 and beautifully restored in 2024. Located in Detroit’s historic Corktown neighborhood, it’s a must-see! While in the area, explore Corktown - dine at Alpino, Supergeil, Mudgie's or Cork & Gable, or grab a drink at Two James or Sugar House.

The Edsel & Eleanor Ford House
