It was finals week at Louisiana College. I already finished all my finals and was looking for something to do so I went downstairs to Cottingham lobby to see if anybody I knew was down there. I found a couple of friends. Some were studying and some were just goofing off. We ended up drawing llamas on each other and this random guy (Parker) asks for one. So I ended up drawing a llama on his arm. I thought nothing of it but he asked if I could draw something else on his hand so I covered his entire hand with random lines and we talked the whole time. We kept in touch after that and hung out after we got back from Christmas break. February 1, 2020, he asked me out with a pickup line that was so cheesy, but I appreciated the effort. And the rest is history.
Officially we met in Cottingham lobby during finals study time. Unofficially Madi had eyes for me since she was a freshman during her orientation where I was a leader being totally awesome and handsome. During that finals study time we were talking about my tattoo and I asked her to draw on my hand. She drew on my hand and I thought she was beautiful. So me being super smooth, I asked her for her snapchat so I could post her on my story (but really it was to get to know her). We talked a little bit over the Christmas break and when we came back for the spring semester I asked her to hang out and she GHOSTED ME FOR OTHER FRIENDS (its okay I now love those friends). I asked her to hang out a couple of days later and go watch the LSU vs. Clemson Championship game together at a local church and we went and had a great time. I eventually asked her out for real on a date (after I got my refund check) on February 1st, 2020 and got separated (not relationally but locationally) by Covid-19 that March. We pushed through and dated for two years and two months and got engaged on April Fool's Day of 2022.
