We met in early 2021 at our staff creative retreat for work and didn't think much of it. A year had gone by and in the spring time David asked if we could get some coffee and I said "yes" even though neither of us drink coffee. It seemed like we talked for an hour but after 3 hours of talking and laughing we left that coffee shop knowing that this could be something.

I was asked to be a part of a photoshoot for a women's event at our church, little did I know it was a set up. So my friends and I showed up to this beautiful garden and started taking pictures. Halfway through the shoot they asked for some solo pictures so I went first and then I heard a voice behind me say "Hey punk".... I recognized the voice and knew who it belonged to, so I looked over and he was down on one knee. I was in shock at first but once I knew what was happening I said "YES," and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you!!
