FAQs

If you have any other questions or concerns please email the bride at mcdonaldfordewedding2021@gmail.com
Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

When you RSVP on the website, if there is an option to add a guest then absolutely! If not than we would prefer if it's just you. Thank you for understanding.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. LBD's, cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuit, or suit and tie. Just know that you will be on grass, gravel and walking down some pathways. This is the time to dress up and have fun with it! And make sure you can dance in whatever you wear!

Question

Can I Take Pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means that we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. We have hired an outstanding professional photographer and videographer to capture some of the most important moments of our lives. We would hate to have well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We want this to be your night to have fun and relax, so unless they're on the invitation, we ask that you come and enjoy the night off. If they are on the invitation and you decide you still want the night off from them, totally fine as well!

Question

Where will parking be?

Answer

Our Ushers (Nate Forde & Dominic Jones) will be by the road directing you, they will assist in parking cars if needed and also shuttling you in golf carts to the ceremony. We will be having you park at some of our neighbors houses to avoid having cars on the road. You can drop your party off at the first driveway that goes down to the tent and our ushers will direct you on where to park. Once you park your car, head right to the ceremony space behind the house. If possible, we ask that you try and carpool to limit the amount of cars. Thank you! Please arrive between 3:00-3:30pm for parking and finding your seat.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We are no longer accepting RSVP's, we have lots of planning to do and had to set a deadline of June 1st. If you RSVP'd to coming and something has come up, please let the bride know. Thank you all for working with us and being respectful of our decision. We hope you all have a safe and healthy year ahead of you.

Question

How big or small is this wedding?

Answer

We now have a final guest count of 203 people attending this wedding. You are welcomed to change your RSVP at any time before July 1st if you would no longer like to attend. We understand that not everyone may be comfortable with that number and would like to celebrate from afar. We want to be transparent with you all on our guest count. Thank you and have hope you have a healthy year.

Question

What about COVID?

Answer

We understand that these are difficult and confusing times, we are praying that we will be able to have the wedding we planned. If you do not feel comfortable attending, we understand. You are welcome to update your RSVP at anytime before the deadline. Please email the bride if needed with any of your concerns or questions. We will keep you updated on this website or through email if any changes occur. As far as right now, we are going ahead with our plans. If we need to, there will be a plan b or c, but we will get married on that day no matter what. We want everyone to be safe and healthy, thank you for baring with us and helping us celebrate our love!

Question

What’s the bar situation?

Answer

We will have an open bar, but what you do with that is on you. We have some incredible local bartenders that will be working very hard, a tip jar and Venmo QR code will be put out, we hope you show them some love.

For all the days along the way
