Yes, either in the front or back parking lot near the front of the church or near the gym.

There's a few on Hwy 70 SE in Hickory, Holiday Inn is one of them that I would recommend

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

No, if you don't have a ride please let the bride or groom know before hand. The bride knows a rental place
