Flashback to Mallory's 2018 birthday celebration, and a spur-of-the-moment decision to invite the entire Gathering crew (our church's young adult worship night). Caleb, being the new guy in town, couldn't resist the opportunity to make some new friends. A great night turned even better when Caleb approached Mallory with "Happy Birthday! We've never met, I'm Caleb!" and the rest is history!

The day after Christmas, Caleb set up a day date to debrief all the holiday craziness and set some new goals for the upcoming year. We went to a delicious brunch at a local Macon restaurant where we discussed our hopes and dreams for the future and reflected on all the Lord has done this year. Those that know us know one of our favorite things to do together is to go for a walk at Amerson River Park. Walking through the park we stumbled upon what I thought was a bench someone had decorated for Christmas! Little did I know Caleb had been at the park that morning setting up with his family while my family set up a little party for us. Sneaky. We sat down to take a picture, and before getting up Caleb poured out his heart and got down on one knee to ask me to marry him! I said yes! We are so excited to celebrate with you all in May! Thank you for your outpouring of love and encouragement to us both!
