The legendary Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk welcomes visitors this season with rides, games, and nonstop fun! Ride two National Historic Landmarks: the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster and the Looff Carousel, in addition to thrill rides, family rides, and kiddie rides. Choose from over 300 games – both new and vintage – in the Casino Arcade, or play mini-golf at Neptune’s Kingdom. Laser tag and the nearby Boardwalk Bowl round out the fun. Take a self-guided historical walking tour or visit the Boardwalk Historium on the second floor of Neptune’s Kingdom: this free exhibit includes photographs and memorabilia from the Boardwalk’s first 100 years.
The Mystery Spot was discovered in 1939 by a group of surveyors and opened to the public in 1940. The Mystery Spot has amazed and perplexed hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world, and many return time and time again to experience these puzzling variations of gravity, perspective, and height.
This is one of our favorite beaches to visit. It is a local beach that is not known by many tourists, making it very clean and family friendly! P.S. make sure to map the address that's provided, as this takes you to the stair access. The one listed on google maps will take you to a location with no beach access. We also suggest walking over to the rocks where there are plenty of tide pools with cool sea critters waiting!
