Zachary and Taryn met at a health and wellness business conference in San Antonio, Texas. Taryn first noticed Zachary at a meeting when he sat in front of her, prompting her to remark to her mother about her inability to see. During a group greeting, Taryn’s mother, Kim, and Zachary greeted each other, but Taryn and Zachary had not yet met. The following day, between sessions, Taryn was standing in line to grab the new energy drink the company had released, while Zachary was unsure which line to join. Taryn noticed his hesitation and said, “You might as well get in the shorter line!” The two began making small talk, and soon it was time for her to get her drink. She thought it was just a brief conversation in line, but as she was grabbing water for her drink, she sensed someone walking up to her it was Zachary. The two began chatting again, exchanged numbers, and made plans to get dessert on July 22, 2023. While Taryn thought it was a great networking opportunity, Zachary wanted to get to know her better. July 22, 2023, was a hot day what better day for ice cream! During their ice cream date, Taryn began to truly enjoy his conversation and learning more about him. That evening, they attended their company’s Casino Royale night. What a night they had. Both were heading home the following day, Taryn back to North Texas and Zachary Delaware, of course they didn’t want their time together to end! Zachary asked Taryn to take a walk along the River Walk, and she excitedly agreed. They spent hours talking and didn’t realize it was 1:00 a.m., even though they had a church gathering the next morning. They parted ways after church, and they have never stopped talking since.
