Crested Butte is approx. 75 miles west via Cottonwood Pass from Colorado Springs. The drive consists of a stunning mountain pass and all through the mountains. You can expect the drive to be about 2 hrs 45 mins from Colorado Springs.
The closest lodging to our venue is in Crested Butte. For more affordable rates, Gunnison (30 minutes south of Crested Butte) is your best bet.. We would all feel better in our hearts if you booked a room close by for after the wedding as we will be so far from home! Please view the "Lodging" tab above for more info.
We will prefer semi-formal for our wedding but we want you to be comfortable most of all! Bring a jacket, sunglasses, and anything else you will need to be comfortable in the sun, rain, snow, or wind. Prepare for a range of max. temperatures from a sunny 75 degrees to a cloudy low-50s during the day. It's hard to judge the weather conditions in Colorado this time of year! After the sunsets, it is possible for the temperature to drop around 10-15 degrees.
Let's face it, Bryce and Leslie live in a 630-ish square foot home. We are not expecting any big gifts but if you would like to donate to our honeymoon fund, we would be extremely appreciative! Our gift items and cash funds can be found on the "Registry" tab above.
Bryce and Leslie are creating an Anniversary Time Capsule! Please bring with you a token, photo, letter, etc. to add to our time capsule. We will open the capsule on out 10th anniversary to remember the love, laughs, and moments of our wedding day!
Don't worry, we aren't wandering into the backcountry for this adventure! Restrooms are available at our wedding venue.
Again, we aren't making you drive up a 4x4 road to watch us say "I Do" (but we did think about that). The road to the venue is fully paved until the short dirt road to the parking lot. There is plenty of room for us all to park!
Cheers! We will have alcohol at our wedding - it is a Colorado celebration after all! We are limiting drinks to beer and hard seltzers. We ask you all to please avoid drinking hard alcohol, including liquor and wine due to the high altitude of our site. You can look forward to a special toast with the Bride & Groom from our special brewer friend!
Whew! Thanks for reading through all the way to the end. We must be cleaned up and out of the space at 10 pm sharp. We will start cleaning up about 9 pm and any help is appreciated!
