How We Met♥

"True Love stories never have endings"

We had always known about each other but the universe hadn't placed us in each other's paths just yet. If you know me you know i gave mari a run for his money. It was everything but easy to get my attention. He had to come correct😂. It all started with a flirtatious hello that led to a 7 hour phone call. Once numbers were exchanged, I Still remember we laughed and talked for hours about all the stuff we had in common. Its funny to this day we joke that when we first met we had no intentions on being anything more than friends. But when you spend so much time with a person you become vulnerable, and I knew then I never wanted to go without him in my life.

The Big Proposal♥

Proverbs 18:22 : He who finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the Lord.

I can always tell when Mari is up to something, and this particular day he was acting very weird. It was New Years Eve and we had just had a fun day with the family. I laid the kids down for bed and I went to do the same. But when I went into the living room there he was, on one knee. He expressed feelings that I knew were genuinely true and I could see it in his eyes. I've never felt anything less than safe and sound when in his presence. Cheers to forever my love, cheers to forever.

Mari's version of how they met😍

"It's always two sides to a story"

It started with a phone conversation through two old coworkers. That phone conversation led me to be interested in a friendship, but a very long conversation later I wanted to know more about her. Then all of a sudden we got setup on a date neither of us knew about😂. I was doing electrical work at the time and had just come from up under a house doing some rewiring. Showed up dirty as hell at Hattie B's restaurant. She tried to act like she wasn't even checking for me. So i had to interrupt her from talking and I turned to her and said "Hey keke!". She responded "Hey Mari". We sat down to eat and she tried to act like she wasn't even hungry😂, knowing good and well she was hungry. We talked for what seemed like forever, She looked at me and asked for a kiss. So you know I had to lay one on her. From that moment on we grew closer, going from being best friends to falling in love. I'm glad that God has placed her in my life. -Mari
