Great question! The Secrets and Dreams Resorts are connected by multiple sidewalks and share a courtyard where the restaurants are located. Secrets is an adult only resort (18 yrs and older). Dreams is family friendly, so if your little ones are coming with you Dreams would be your place. Most of us are staying at Secrets and we can come over to Dreams at any time to visit with those that are staying there.
Secrets and Dreams have a 3-night minimum. But you are welcome to come for as long as you would like. Please make it a fun vacation time for you. One of the main reasons we chose a destination wedding was to have extra time with our special family and friends!
Friday evening, we will be having a Welcome Dinner at an open-air restaurant. Dress will be cocktail attire which includes short or long dresses for the ladies and pants (khakis or slacks) with a collared shirt for the guys. Saturday Wedding attire is a little more formal with full-length or midi-length dresses (sundress or formal) for the ladies, dress pants and dress shirt (sport coats or suits optional) for the men.
Yes! Once you arrive on property, all food and drinks are included. It's time to relax and enjoy!
We have partnered with my cousin Amy to make this an easy process for you. She is a professional travel agent and will help accommodate all your travel needs. If you go the travel tab on our website, just click and it will take you directly to her page made specifically for this trip. She is ready to help you with resort reservations, transfers, and flights getting you the best rate possible. She even has it set up for payments to be made throughout the year if that makes it easier for you.
Yes! You will need a current passport to travel to the Dominican Republic. Please double check and make sure your passport does not expire within 6 months of February 2027.
The best way is to schedule a transfer through Amy under the travel tab. She will gladly schedule your transfer to the resort and then back to the airport when you depart. The resort is 90 minutes from the airport in which you will see Dominican city life and then through the most picturesque countryside before arriving to our tropical paradise.
