This spot (both restaurant, beer garden, and public hangout spot) is only a five minute walk away from the Hilton Canton hotel, so it's a great spot to grab dinner, a beer, or just hang out with the kids if you're looking to take a break from the hotel!
We shot part of our engagement shoot at this exact Tatte! They have great pastries, coffee, and a big menu whether you're looking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There are also a bunch of Tatte's all around Boston, so don't hesitate to look for the one closest to you!
Flour Bakery and Cafe has some of the *best* sweets and pastries in Boston, so it's definitely worth a visit! Like Tatte there are locations all over Boston and Cambridge, so definitely look around for the one closest to you.
This is truly one of the cutest, most photo-worthy, picturesque spots in the entire city with three stories of books and a cafe on the ground floor. For those with kiddos the children's section has a giant train that runs around the ceiling!
L.A. Burdick's has, dare I say, the best hot chocolate in the entire city and while it may be September it's still entirely worth a visit. They also have coffee, pastries, and amazing desserts and chocolates, so check it out if you can! There are two shops in Boston and one in Cambridge, so look for the one closest to you.
This is one of the coolest and funkiest museums in Boston (plus it's in a beautiful part of the city too), so we definitely encourage you to spend an hour or two here if you can!
The classic, need we say more? :)
The BPL is a lovely spot to check out not just for the library itself, but also because it's in the heart of downtown Boston and you can walk around all of the major streets while you're there. And if the weather is nice (fingers crossed!) definitely check out the Boston Common and Public Garden while you're at it!
The Arnold Arboretum has a special place in my heart and I can't recommend enough taking even just a thirty minute walk through its beautiful pathways. It's also completely free to visit, too!
Calling all antique shoppers! This place is *the best* when it comes to antique/thrift shopping. The Cambridge Antique market is five floors tall and has literally thousands of different items. If you have a few extra hours and enjoy leisurely perusing it's definitely a spot worth checking out!
For those who are staying downtown or hope to spend an evening wandering around the city, Vincent and I definitely recommend stopping at the UnCommon Corner stage located right next to the Boston Common. It's a fun, family-friendly space where you can get a variety of different beers, soft drinks, and Mexican food as well! On a late summer evening it's just picture-perfect, too.
