We're so excited to celebrate our wedding with you!

We grew up about one hour away from each other near Atlanta, but we met four hours away in Statesboro! Timothy and his best man/brother, Michael, bought a house to fix up while he attended college, and I was living in Marietta, finishing college. On Valentine’s Day 2020, I went to visit a friend from high school in Statesboro and we met that weekend by chance and a swipe to the right! We dated long distance our first year together, taking turns visiting each other when possible, and FaceTime was our best friend! One upside of dating during a pandemic was that our schools were moved to an online format, giving us opportunities to visit each other and because literally everything was closed, we spent a lot of time talking and learning about each other. Timothy was always great at making up games that deepened our conversations. We spent our online time studying, always encouraging each other to do our best in college, we watched movies, and we even worked out together - but separate. We were eventually able to go on vacations together, and with our families, and we began to integrate our lives. In January 2021, after a year of long distance dating, I moved to Statesboro to be closer to Timothy. Our relationship grew so much deeper once we lived in the same town and we loved finally being able to go on spontaneous dates, long walks, even roller skating! On October 23, 2021, Timothy proposed at our favorite hiking spot down here, Magnolia Springs State Park. Together, we now have two dogs, Ophelia and Paisley. Our favorite things to do together are cooking, walking/hiking with the dogs, and traveling. We push each other hard to be our best in our school and work and we honestly bring out the best in one another! We have fun just being together, whether we’re just sitting on the couch or on a vacation. We are best friends and soulmates and cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together! We’re so glad you’re going to be part of our journey!
