Is there parking at the venue?

There will be free valet parking offered by The Cookery.

When should I RSVP by?

We will send invitations over the summer. Please plan to RSVP by September 24th, 2025!

Will you be providing shuttle transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

At this time we do not have plans to provide shuttle transportation! Our wedding block hotels are a short Uber or Lyft to the Cookery. Downtown Durham is about a mile away from the Cookery as well, and there's plenty of rideshares available on a Friday night! We'll be sharing an Uber Code as well with all guests.

Is there a dress code?

The wedding is cocktail attire. Dresses, jackets, dress shirts, and suits are all good options!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We will have an option to let us know about your food allergies on our RSVP form.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We are hosting welcome drinks at the Crunkleton on Thursday, October 23rd at 8:00pm for all of our guests. Please note that this event is in Chapel Hill, so if you're staying in Durham, it will take rough 25-30 minutes to get there.

Will we be outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held in The Cookery's outdoor courtyard (weather permitting). Temperatures in October in North Carolina tend to be mild, but please check the weather day-of for most up-to-date forecast! The reception will be held indoors.
