We met October of 2021 through a dating app just as Mike was about to leave for Japan and statistically we never should have met. But a month of nonstop talking, we were both stateside and had our first date that Mike was fashionably late to and it was love at first sight. In case a lot of you don't know, Mike forgot about the time zone change between Huntsville and Chattanooga. Two years later Mike is back in the states for Christmas and we then had our second date where Caitlin went to Huntsville and we made it "official" knowing we didn't want to wait another two years before Mike could be back home and have been doing long distance ever since. Come that next April, Mike was home for two weeks and we were inseparable. We made plans in July for Caitlin to fly to San Diego to spend two weeks with Mike while he was on deployment trying to get as much time together as we could. In 2024 we got married at the courthouse as we knew this was where our future was headed and we didn't want to wait any longer. After four long years of long distance, we will be closing the distance in 2025 and settling down in Huntsville, AL and so excited to share and celebrate our love with family and friends on April 11th, 2026 in Ardmore, AL with a wedding ceremony and reception.
