What day is the wedding and where is it taking place?

Answer

Our wedding day is Friday February 10th, 3 days after we arrive in Punta Cana. Our wedding is taking place at an off-resort venue called Kukua Beach Club. Transportation to and from the venue has already been pre-arranged and pre-paid for by us. The venue is roughly a ~25 minute drive from our resort. As of now, our ceremony is set to begin at 4:30pm EST, meaning the pick-up time from our resort will be around 3:30pm EST. More details to follow on this. Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We ask that everyone dress 'beach formal'. This is still a formal event, but we also recognize that it's going to be hot and we want everyone to be comfortable.

Do I need to bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

We are not expecting gifts - your presence at our destination wedding is a gift in itself. We appreciate you making the trip to celebrate our big day with us! We will have a card box at the venue for anyone who still chooses to give a gift or a card, but please know it is not expected.

Have any activities been planned?

Answer

We are looking into planning two different events for our guests, which will be entirely optional. We are looking into a catamaran/private boat tour and we are looking into booking a round of golf. We have sent an e-mail with more information and will keep you posted on the details in the coming weeks if you expressed interest in either/both of these things.
