We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We met for the first time in August of 2018 at a very important mutual celebratory event that we got the privilege to be apart of - Daniel and Leora's wedding that is. (Michael's oldest brother and Julia's near life-long best friend). The wedding was in Huntsville, AL where Michael's parents live. We both noticed each other from across the room for the first time at the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. Julia's first impression: Oh, my goodness. He is beautiful. Little did I know that I would discover so much more of Michael's true beauty (his heart) until the following day. August 4th, 2018 was by far one of the best days of our lives. We got to talk and formally meet for the first time, watch our best friends exchange vows, I got to hear Michael's heart so deeply conveyed during his toast to Leora and Daniel. I knew that day that the woman that got to spend a life with Michael would be the luckiest, and happiest woman alive. I wanted it to be me! We danced for hours and exchanged many laughs and thankfully phone numbers by the end of the night. When I say from that day forward it was a mutual love and understanding between Michael and I.. I mean it quite literally. We have spent every day since then by each other's sides, despite the physical long distance. Michael and I try to thank God every day that he brought us together. We are so grateful for Jesus, and to our family and friends for being so supportive of us.

Michael took us on a spontaneous getaway... he didn't tell me where we were going or how far away it was. (He knows I don't like long car rides so I wasn't too concerned, mostly excited). Within an hour we were driving into the most gorgeous mountainous terrain surrounding by the bluest skies in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The weekend was full of relaxation, laughs and fun. We are so excited to bring all of our family and friends to the exact place that we got engaged at for our wedding celebration.
