The Love Story

All because two people swiped right.

They met on Tinder, which isn't necessarily something to brag about, but they were both in it for the right reasons. They had their first date at Otto's in State College. Two days later, Carbon came into their lives, Kyle says he's the reason Nicole kept coming around, but she says otherwise. They went on a total of eight dates before Kyle made it official in October of 2017 and asked Nicole to be his girlfriend at the Stone Arch Bridge in Lewistown. After months of traveling from Altoona to Lewistown, or Lewistown to Altoona, they decided to move in together in June of 2018, Nicole moving from Altoona to Lewistown. They lived right down the street from Kyle's parents in a three bedroom apartment. They both worked from home, which some people couldn't believe, but this actually brought them even closer together. Also in that time, they opened their candle business, Stone Arch Candle Company. In February of 2019, they found their dream home, and had 30 minutes to decide whether to put in an offer or not. Their offer was accepted, and they moved to McVeytown. In March of 2019, Kyle took Nicole to "take pictures" on the Stone Arch Bridge. He bought Carbon a new collar tag, and decided to show Nicole while at the bridge. Nicole bent down and read the collar tag, which said "He wants to know if you'll say yes?" and when Nicole turned around, Kyle was down on one knee. It was perfect, and he couldn't have done it without the help of Carbon. Due to the unforseen circumstances of COVID-19, Nicole and Kyle will be wed on their original wedding date of April 25, 2020. They have postponed their reception until October 31, 2020. If you have received a change the date card and would like to attend the rescheduled reception, please click the RSVP link above. They can't wait to party with all of you!
