Any hotel in Franklin or Brentwood would be a safe bet. It is a very nice area with lots of shopping, and downtown Franklin is great if you plan on staying for the weekend and want to check it out!

Airbnb's are a great alternative to a hotel, and there are TONS of them in Nashville. You will just want to book soon if you are going this route because they fill up quickly! I would recommend finding something in the East Nashville or Germantown area if you want to be close to the venue. If you wanted to look a little further out, you could try Brentwood, Franklin, Donelson, or Mt. Juliet. The most affordable option for Airbnb would be to book a house with multiple bedrooms and go in with other family members/friends.
