We're getting married!

We met in the Dominican Republic in January 2019 during a service trip organized by our alma mater, Juniata College. Rachel had been invited back as an alumni participant, while Zach was on the trip as a junior, gaining hands-on experience working with community members in need of healthcare as he prepared for his dental school application. While in the DR, Zach mentioned that Rachel had been his TA for Intro to Psychology when he was a freshman. Rachel later learned that he vividly remembered what she was wearing the first time he saw her — a yellow dress. As the trip came to an end, both of us were unsure of what would come next. Zach was flying back to Juniata, and Rachel was heading back to Pittsburgh, where she was living and working at the time. By March, we began spending time together, and by early June, we were officially dating — with Rachel meeting the entire St. Clair family by July! We enjoyed splitting our time between Juniata and Pittsburgh while Zach finished his senior year of college, even watching his graduation on Zoom! Our long-distance relationship continued when Zach chose Touro College of Dental Medicine and moved to Westchester, NY, in the summer of 2020. Two years later, Rachel made the easy decision to join Zach in NY, marking the beginning of one of our favorite adventures: living in the same city for the first time in our relationship. In August 2023, we added a new member to our family — a sweet girl named Murphy, the light of our lives! Fast forward two more years, and it was time for Zach to graduate from dental school. After his graduation, we moved back to Rachel's hometown, where Zach accepted a job at a local practice, Betar Dental. We wrapped up the summer with an engagement at Juniata, a place that meant the world to Rachel, sharing an incredibly intimate moment with just the three of us: Zach, Rachel, and Murphy. We are so excited to share this special day with you and feel incredibly grateful to have you be a part of our celebration. Your presence means the world to us, and we can't wait to celebrate together!
