We met at a party that Ashley threw while her parents were away in South Carolina. Sean had come with a friend to the party and got drunk and fell asleep on the couch . The next morning all the guests had left but Sean was still asleep on the couch. Ashley had went downstairs to wake him up but couldn’t remember his name.... They didn’t see each other for 2 to 3 years, when Ashley saw Sean in a bar and bought him a drink (if an Irish Carbomb is classified as a drink) to get his attention. The rest is history!

The night of the proposal Sean took Ashley to the restaurant he took her to 2 and 1/2 years earlier for their first date. A small restaurant in Bristol called Itri. Sean was super nervous so he ordered beer flights to get over the nerves. He had already planned a photographer to wait for them after their meal but he was so nervous they ate for 20 minutes and he told her they had to meet everyone for a “surprise” party for her. Sean took Ashley to the pavilion down the street from the restaurant where the photographer was waiting. They talked about the things in life they wanted to succeed in and what they wanted for each other in the next coming years. Sean finally got the courage to get on one knee and asked the love of his life to marry him. Unlike to first time he asked her out... she said YES!
