Michael and Kara met in January of 2024. One of Kara's friends mom worked with Michael's mom and they decided to see if we would be interested in each other. We ended up getting our phone numbers exchanged and started texting. After about a week, we decided to meet for an official date. We went out for pizza and Kara thought things went well, while Michael thought he "blew it" for some reason, haha. He was very excited when Kara continued to text him and was definitely still interested. We continued hanging out and pretty soon were spending most of our free time together despite living 40 minutes away from one another. Kara got Michael back into golfing, Michael widened Kara's food preferences and forced her to watch a lot of different sports lol, and they both clicked with each other's families. It was not long until we both felt like we had known each other forever, even though it had literally only been a few months. On May 4, 2025 we went golfing with Kara's sister and brother-in-law; just a normal Sunday afternoon. On the 14th hole, Michael put a golf ball on the green that said "Kara will you marry me?" Kara went to examine the golf ball, read it, and turned around to find Michael on one knee with a ring in his hands. Best round of golf ever! And now here we are preparing for our wedding day. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people!
