Where is the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony/reception is at Castle of Joy in Murphy, NC. Please do not arrive more than 30 minutes before the ceremony starts (4PM). The venue is very small and we will be taking pictures before the ceremony, so we do not want to ruin any surprises for our guests.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP by December 1, 2023 so we have plenty of time to make the final decisions.

Is this an outdoor or indoor event?
Answer
The ceremony will be outside, so help us pray for great weather. The reception will be inside with dancing and picture areas outside.

Where are you registered?

Is there a dress code?
Answer
No real dress code. It is an evening ceremony, so a little more formal. We just want you to spend this special day with us!

How far is the venue from local areas?

45 minutes from downtown Ellijay 30 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge 15-20 minutes from Blairsville, GA or Murphy, NC 2 hours and 15 minutes from Lawrenceville or Hartsfield-Jackson Airport

What are the options for lodging?

Please see the Lodging section for links. We have listed a few recommendations that the venue gave us. If you book from the recommendations, please tell them that Castle of Joy sent you. Both Blairsville and Murphy are only 20 minutes away. Both towns have endless rental cabins on AirBnB and VRBO with beautiful mountain views!
