We met at University of Dubuque. We both were very involved in campus ministry and met during the Fall Retreat. I thought he hated me for telling him I had his dad for a teacher, turns out he thought I was the "cute chapel girl". So, I'd say it worked out for us, don't you?

We were in Door County on a McCaw family vacation. Tim decided he wanted to get his camera out, so we all go dressed up and went down to Lake Michigan. I thought nothing of it, since he is always wanting to get out and use his camera. He was being goofy, no surprise there, and was standing behind be while Bob (the best man) was taking my picture. I turned around and there he was, down on one knee, with a shiny ring! I was in shock! After asking if he was being serious (ooops), I said YES!
