Maid of Honor
Meagan is not only the bride's big sister, but her best friend and confidant! Mallory has always relished in the fact that they have been mistaken as twins for most of their lives. When they were kids, some people thought it was kind of strange how close they were and how they rarely fought. Sometimes, when they were allowed to bring a friend to an event, they often picked each other. They still pick each other to this day.
Officiant/Bridesmaid
Dan and Emily met in college and became fast friends. Through adulthood they've remained the closest of friends and together have been instrumental in bringing "the crew" together. When Mallory met Dan at a costume party, she also met Emily and they pretty instantly became best friends! Emily and Mallory share a love of creating fairy houses in nature and finishing evenings out with epic dance parties in the living room. With her infectious personality, close friendship with both Mal and Dan and her magical view of life and love, it only seemed fitting that Emily not only be one of Mallory's bridesmaids but officiate the ceremony as well!
Bridesmaid
Kelly is Dan's younger sister, but has quickly become one of Mal's closest friends. When Mallory attended a 4th of July party at the McCarthy lake house and met the family as "a friend of Dan's", Kelly immediately thought that Mal was the one Dan would marry one day (she's a smart one!) Mallory and Kelly enjoy sending snapchats to each other of their respective cats doing ridiculous things. Although Kelly is seven years younger than Dan, they've become close in their adult years and based on maturity alone, some might think Kelly is the older one.
Bridesmaid
Mallory and Melissa met as tweens during Biddie League Softball. In high school, they became mediocre field hockey players and exceptional latin scholars together. They shared a work hard, play hard attitude throughout high school and spent college thousands of miles away from each other. After college, it was like no time had passed at all. They've become closer than ever and have a shared love of cooking, games and hanging out with Melissa's little one, Jolene!
Bridesmaid
Kayla and Mallory met through their respective spouses who happen to be best friends (scroll down to learn more about Nick). Kayla is wild, free and honest. Mallory admires Kayla's approach to life and friendships and couldn't imagine life without her wit, jokes and good advice. Kayla is a superstar for a number of reasons, but one of main reasons is that she lived with Danny, Nick and two other guys for over a year in a big house with one bathroom. Mallory became an honorary roommate in this house during the last summer and it's there on sun porch, etc where Kayla and Mallory's friendship truly began.
Bridesmaid
Stephanie and Mallory met in gymnastics when they were about 10. Mallory almost won a cartwheel-a-thon but there was just one contestant left. Mallory was a bit disappointed when that last contestant beat her by one or two cartwheels in the alotted time. That disappointment immediately went away when that girl ran up to her with a smile on her face and her arms outreached and said "You did a great job!! I'm Stephanie, what's your name?" They became best friends and have remained so for the past twenty years, no matter the distance between them. From softball, sleepovers, pool parties, and tagging along on each other's family vacations, Mallory and Stephanie truly grew up together and look forward to their continued friendship for years to come!
Bridesmaid
Kelsey is Mallory's cousin and her "first friend". Their mom's were in each other's weddings and Mallory was in Kelsey's wedding, too! Mallory and Kelsey had a world of their own growing up; they spent hours in the playroom at Kelsey's house playing President's Daughters (not that President, though!), Restaurant girls and watching the "Fun House" scene in Home Alone and Home Alone 2 on repeat. With such a big, crazy family, Mallory and Kelsey are so thankful to have each other!
Bridesmaid
Stephanie and Mallory met on their very first day at Bryant University, as they were randomly assigned to each other as roommates in their freshmen dorm. They immediately became best friends and chose to be each other's roommates all four years of college and even during their spring break trip when they could have taken a break from each other. Stephanie and Mallory share a similar sense of humor and if you ever popped into their dorm room, you could find them attempting to walk on the ceiling or eating copious amounts of chips and salsa.
Best Man
Tom and Dan started causing trouble together during band in high school where they both played the drums. They share a love of snowboarding, boating and jam seshes. You can always count on Tom to bring his red cooler and his own snacks to any event. If he's not on the slopes, he's probably finding a hot tub to chill in via Google Earth. Mal and Dan have started a yearly tradition with Tom of burning their Christmas tree on New Year's Day. Mal jokes that Tom is her Best Man, too.
Groomsman
Brian and Danny played on the basketball and baseball team when they were in the single digits. Brian AKA "Pizzi" is who everyone would want as their friend. He's hilarious, thoughtful, smart and always down for a pickle back and a game of pinball. A favorite memory with Pizzi (in the Mal and Dan era) was a trip all three took to Okemo during blizzard "Stella" where they shredded the slopes, stayed in a hostel and drank a little bit, too. Although he's living on the West Coast now, Mal and Dan can always count on Pizzi to send pictures of his travels and adventures (and Bailey)!
Groomsman
Mal: "Kevin, send me a picture of yourself for our wedding website" Kevin: "OK!" (See pic above) Kevin and Danny have been friends since they got their first jobs at 14 years old serving food at a retirement community. In high school, they were volleyball and theater stars together. You can ask them both about how to win Settlers or Red Dead Redemption II if you have a few hours to spare. Kevin is also the one that said "Hey, Danny. Shelby's friend Mal is pretty cool. You should go talk to her". Thanks Kevin!
Groomsman
Fahey is unarguably Dan's best-dressed friend (see above). Fahey is thoughtful and pragmatic, and always up for a get together with the "crew" or an international trip. He also happens to be a great bowler and the best dog-dad to Nova! He was the driving force in getting all the "Marlborough Boys" to move out of their parents houses and into a big house together (where Dan and Mal met).
Groomsman
Buko! Danny met Nick in High School when he moved into the same neighborhood. Dan and Nick are two peas in a pod at times. Although both are active and enjoy getting outside, they also can't resist a "slob day" every now and again. Nick can make a mean drink and can arguably defeat anyone in Hearthstone and Mario Kart.
Groomsman
Danny and Brendan met in Church when they were about seven and have been great friends ever since. They share a love of good beers and yard games. You might find Brendan with a home-brewed beer in his hand or walking one of his cats on a leash!
Groomsman
Hayden is basically part of the McCarthy family and has been for the past seven years. He is the significant other of one of the lovely bridesmaids and sister-of-the-groom, the one and only, Kelly McCarthy! Hayden has become like a brother to Dan over the years and Dan appreciates having (tall/strong) Hayden around to help put the dock back in the lake and demo the kitchen at the McCarthy homestead. Fun fact: Hayden and Mallory (inadvertently) almost always get the same entree when the family goes out to dinner. They've got great taste!
