The Notch Road
The Notch Road/Mountain Road/VT RT 108 is the winding road that climbs Vermont’s tallest peak, Mount Mansfield, and allows travelers to drive between Stowe and Jeffersonville, VT. Travel through part of The Notch is one-lane and curving with turnouts. Vehicles greater than 40’ in length are unable to pass. Please keep this in mind when choosing your accommodations! Please also allow for extra travel time from Stowe to Jeffersonville during these busy foliage months in VT!
