Haley and Josh met the old-fashioned way: online. Josh’s opening line was a bold one, telling Haley to get her “shoes off the bed” after noticing one of her photos showed her sitting on a bed with shoes on. Haley knew right then and there he might be the one. After all, she was looking for someone who wasn’t afraid to tell her what to do. Their first date involved tacos and margs, two of Haley’s favorite things, so Josh was already off to a strong start. On their second date, they went to The Farm for trivia night. While they didn’t do particularly well in the game itself, they proudly won best team name and spent the night laughing nonstop. Haley fell for Josh because of his thoughtfulness and patience. Josh fell for Haley because of her sweet nature and her beautiful eyes. From there, they quickly became inseparable, filling their time with weekend trips, concerts (many concerts), and trying new restaurants together. Josh’s favorite hobby is professional wrestling. At first, Haley wasn’t so sure, but Josh reassured her that he knew it was fake. He brought her to a few shows, and they spent the night laughing as Haley made up new names for the wrestlers based on their silly outfits. It didn’t take long for them to realize they were right for each other. Haley’s wild and energetic personality perfectly complements Josh’s logical and organized nature. Different in all the best ways, they share one thing above all else: their love for being together. Originally from Massachusetts, Josh had only been in New Hampshire for work. When he later accepted a new job back in Massachusetts, the logical choice would have been to return home. Instead, Josh chose to stay in New Hampshire with Haley and take on the lengthy commute. Before long, they moved in together and settled into life side by side. Haley now cooks dinner for Josh every night, though Josh did apply for the position of Haley’s sous chef and, unfortunately, did not get the job. Josh later took Haley to Chicago for a concert (shocking, we know), where he surprised her by proposing at the restaurant of one of their favorite Food Network chefs. It was the perfect moment and the perfect “yes.” Haley and Josh are so excited for their future together and can’t wait to celebrate and share their love with all of you.
