The Adventure Begins!

Almost 8 years ago I laid my eyes on the man I'd call my future husband without even realizing it. I was in my late teens when I was working at Walnut Creek Safeway as a courtesy clerk. I had been working with Safeway for almost 2 years but only a couple months at the Walnut Creek location. On my day off I decided to come in to get a sandwhich when I noticed we had a new Starbucks boy working. I was suddently not hungry and I realized how much I actually wanted a coffee. After a couple weeks of buying coffees and teas on and off my shift, I made the first move and messaged him on facebook asking if he was working on Halloween. He was, but when he asked why I wanted to know, my response was "Just wondering"...cringy I know. Well my secret was over from that point and he knew I liked him. At the time he was still with his curent girlfriend, and after a few weeks I started talking to another guy. Jake and I were friends and he was always asking me for relationship advice (wrong move dude), well eventually they broke up and after a few weeks Jake and I became inseperable. It took 3 months for him to make us "official" but almost 8 years later we are happily engaged and almost freaking married. In between all those years we have grown so much together and will grow even more as the years go by. I couldn't imagine what my life would be if I didn't transfer to the Walnut Creek Safeway location. <3 Megan
