McCann Wedding 2022

Connor and Taylor first met when working at Ford together. Connor was working as an Engineer and Taylor was working as a Graphic Designer. One day Connor's desk got moved next to Taylor's and the two started chatting and getting to know each other. After several months, Connor went to Connecticut to visit family for the 4th of July holiday and Taylor offered to keep him company over the phone as he made the 10-hour drive across the country. The day Connor returned to Detroit, he asked Taylor on a date. Connor picked Taylor up at her parents house and the two went to Ocean Prime and shared a very expensive meal together. Afterward, Connor planned to watch the sunset at a nearby park...with a six-pack in tow. The date went well but there just weren't any sparks, it wasn't until a few months later the two slowly started making their way back to each other and the rest is well...history.

On December 24th, 2020, Connor got down on one knee and asked Taylor for her hand in marriage. Christmas Eve was spent at Taylor's sister and brother-in-law's house (since the world was still shut down) and when the two returned home Connor said he had a Christmas gift for Taylor. Connor went downstairs and came back up with something behind his back and got down on one knee. Taylor was absolutely shocked, in fact, her first response was "no no no no". Connor and Taylor spent the rest of the night in anxious glee in preparation to share the news with family on Christmas Day.
