Are kids invited?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this advance notice means you’re able to let your hair down and celebrate with us on the day! We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes, we kindly request that all guests RSVP by the RSVP Deadline on November 6th, you can do this by visiting the "RSVP" section of our website.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us for our big day! We request that the dress code for the wedding is Black Tie. Ladies can wear floor length, tea-length, midi formal cocktail dresses or a dressy pantsuit. Gentlemen can wear a suit or tux with neckties or bowties. Please dress appropriately and comfortably for the occasion. No casual wear please!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP online. Thank you for your understanding!

What is the wedding date, time, and location?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will take place on Friday, December 29th at 2 PM at Saint Ignatius Church located at 2600 St. Albans Drive, Reading PA 19609. The reception will be at The Abraham Lincoln ("Abraham Lincoln Events”) which is located at 100 North 5th Street, Reading PA, 19601. Please refer to the "Venue" section on our website for more information and directions.

What is the timeline of events for the wedding day?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be held from 2:00PM. We will kick off the reception with cocktail hour from 5:00-6:00PM, followed by dinner and dancing with the night ending at 11 PM. A detailed timeline can be found on the "Schedule" section of our website.

Are the wedding ceremony and the reception at the same venue?

Answer

No, the wedding ceremony will be held at Saint Ignatius Loyola Church and the reception will be held 5 miles away at The Abraham Lincoln (Abraham Lincoln Events).

What time should guests arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 2:00 PM. We kindly ask that guests arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of the ceremony to allow for seating and any last-minute adjustments.

What should guests do with the two hour gap between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

During the two-hour gap, guests can take this opportunity to relax, freshen up, change at their hotel, explore the West Reading area for a drink, or simply unwind before the cocktail hour begins. You can find our recommendations for things to do in the “Things to Do” section of our website.

What are the parking options at the church and at the venue?

Answer

There is a parking lot at the church with plenty of parking spots available. If you are not staying at the hotel and plan on driving to the reception at The Abraham Lincoln, you can park in the Abraham Lincoln Parking Garage, whose entrance is off of Washington Street. Please note there is limited street parking. For oversized vehicles you may park across the street at the bank.

Is it okay to take photos during the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, as we have hired a professional photographer. However, feel free to capture memories during the reception!

Are there any special transportation arrangements for guests to the reception venue?

Answer

Yes, we have arranged for a shuttle service to transport guests from the DoubleTree to the reception venue. This shuttle service is only available to those guests staying at the DoubleTree. Shuttles will depart from the DoubleTree promptly at 4:30 & 4:45 PM.

Are there any accommodations available nearby?

Answer
