Can I wear my Halloween costume?

Answer

Our wedding happens to fall on Halloween! While we love the fun of the holiday, we kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing costumes to the wedding. Instead, please dress in cocktail attire — dresses, jumpsuits, or suits that are dressy but comfortable enough to dance and celebrate.

Where is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both take place at Guntersville State Park Lodge. The ceremony will take place on the upper terrace. The reception is in the Grandview Ballroom. There is an elevator on the right side of the building when you walk through the entrance.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at 4PM so that the wedding ceremony can begin on time. There is a large parking lot outside of the venue. There is no need to arrive prior to 4PM. Thank you!

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We have a room block at Guntersville State Park Lodge. Be sure to mention our wedding when calling to book so you can get the group rate.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Yep! You can find it under the “Registry” tab above. We also love handmade or personal gifts — and don’t forget to check off anything you purchase so we don’t get duplicates.

Is there a rehearsal dinner?

Answer

No, we will not be having a rehearsal dinner. However, we are meeting for a casual welcome at the City Harbor on the night before the wedding if you are in town!

Will there be drinks?

Answer

We’ll have beer, wine, and a few signature cocktails.

What's for dinner?

Answer

We will be having a buffet style dinner featuring beef, chicken, sides, dessert, and wedding cake. There will also be hors d'oeuvres prior to dinner.
