Things To Do

Our wedding will be located on the Eastern Shore, which is a region of Maryland full of cute coastal towns, good food (especially crabs!), and scenic byways. Here are some of our favorite towns to visit!

Easton, Maryland

Easton, MD 21601

Easton is home to many wonderful things...including our wedding venue! Downtown Easton, where the Tidewater Inn is located, features award-winning restaurants, boutique shops, art galleries, and great ice cream. If you are open to venturing away from downtown, we recommend visiting The Market at Dover Station, a very cool art and design market. Nature lovers can also travel to the Pickering Creek Audubon Center, which is a nearby animal sanctuary with hiking trails and scenic views.

St. Michaels, Maryland

Saint Michaels, MD 21663

St. Michaels, MD, known as "The Town that Fooled the British," is a charming, walkable town on the Chesapeake Bay. Located approximately twenty minutes from the wedding venue, the historic downtown area has many art galleries, parks, boutiques, restaurants, and general stores. You can definitely make a full day exploring them all! If you are into museums, we also recommend checking out the Chesapeake Maritime Museum, where you can learn more about Chesapeake Bay culture and history.

Oxford, Maryland

Oxford, MD 21654

Oxford is a quaint waterfront town with cute neighborhood streets and an even cuter downtown area. Its main street features various stores, quick eats, and a beautiful waterside park. When we visit Oxford, we love to go to the Oxford Deli/Market to grab a sub that we can eat at the park! If you're making a day out of Oxford, we recommend grabbing food at Doc's Sunset Grille and then hopping on the Oxford/Bellevue Ferry for a scenic ride on a nearby river. The ferry itself has been in-service since the 1600s, and is the oldest active ferry in the United States.
