Things To Do
Beacon
Lovely town with tons of art galleries, restaurants, shops, and the Dia Museum of Modern Art. There's also an easy hike at Scenic Hudson’s Long Dock Park. Only about a 13 minute drive from Hyatt House!
Cold Spring
Cold Spring has a smaller main street than Beacon but is very close to Garrison. The main shopping street leads down to deck on the Hudson River. Be sure to get ice cream from Moo Moo's Creamery.
Rhinebeck
Another quaint town! It's about an hour drive from Hyatt House. Shops, restaurants, the oldest continuously operating Inn, and one of the best farmer's markets ever. There's also a really scenic hike: Poet’s Walk Park (easy with some small hills)
FOOD FOOD FOOD
There's an insane amount of good food in the Hudson Valley! Fishkill: Il Figlio Enoteca, Red Line Diner, Maya Cafe, Sotano, Heritage Food and Drink Beacon: Brothers Trattoria, Zora Dora's Microbatch Ice Cream & Paletas, Zeitun, and Beacon Bread Co. Rhinebeck: Il Posto Neapolitan Pizza, Abba's Felafel, and Gigi's Trattoria Joe's Dairy Bar (Hopewell Junction, not far from Fishkill) also has a special place in Julie's heart, since both she and her mom have been going there for soft serve since they were kids. Fishkill Farms is also a must if have time, and is only an 11 minute drive from the hotel. They have a great farm store and cidery, paired with gorgeous views and the best apple cider donuts EVER.
Lots of hiking!!

Arts/Culture/History
There's literally endless arts and culture in the Hudson Valley. We're huge fans of Innisfree Garden, a stunning and totally unique place to visit. There's also the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, which puts on great productions and shares a parking lot with our venue, The Garrison. And of course Storm King Art Center is always a fun place to visit!
