What airport do I fly into?

Answer

You can fly into either Pensacola International Airport (PNS) which is about 1 hour and 25 minutes from the venue. The other option is Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VSP) which is about 35 minutes from the venue.

When looking for accommodations, what's the best area to look?

Answer

Miramar Beach or Destin. It's a small area so you really can't go wrong. Unfortunately, we lost our room block with the Coutyard, so where you stay is completely up to you. The prices will be a bit higher and harder to come by due to the season, so we recommend booking as soon as possible. If you would like stay in a condo or a house, VRBO and Airbnb are great options. The prices are comparable to hotel prices, but usually do not have many amenities. It may be worth it for those traveling as a family or a group, as it can accommodate more people and the price may be cheaper if you split the cost.

What's the parking situation?

Answer

We will have a shuttle service as it is a private resort and parking is only for residents. We will update as soon as we have a pick up location for the shuttle.

Where is the reception?

Answer

Our reception will be on the beach close to the ceremony site. Should rain occur, we will announce our plan B.

Will there be alcohol at the wedding?

Answer

YES! We will have beer and wine available. NON-ALCOHOLIC beverages will also be available. Please do not drink and drive!

What is the dress code?

Beachy Semi-formal. Both ceremony and reception will be on the beach so shoes are optional. We do ask that you dress up for the occasion, but also make sure you're comfortable 😊💃

What time should I arrive?

We have had to change the time so we ask guests to arrive around 5:45. Keep in mind, Miramar Beach follows Central Time so plan accordingly.

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know if they will be attending so we can include them in our guest count. We will have kid friendly activities. We do ask that you keep in mind that we will be at the beach and there will be alcohol. Keep an eye on your kiddies 🙂
