These two love birds met each other in the land of Brigham Young, and the Great Salt Lake. Both having their roots in Boise, ID, they clicked. Lauren wanted to learn to backcountry ski, and Pat wanted to teach her. That became his campaign promise! After meeting they saw each other on an off for a couple weeks but it was hard for Pat to get past this new girl having the same name as his sister (ha!). Lauren was convinced this was a dud and had given up. Then, the night before Valentines day, Pat texted Lauren "do you have any plans tomorrow?" Lauren knowing it was Valentines day acted as if she had no idea and stated she in fact didn't have any plans at all! Pat drove Lauren to an area where they snow shoed into a hot springs out in the middle of no where. After this adventure, it was on from there! They began to take off on a regular basis exploring Utah, and soon enough decided to come back to their real home, Idaho. Now their story is mostly about taking off into the wild and sleeping under the stars, and probably always will be....
***Covid concerns:: The ceremony is outside in a very open area with ample room for people to spread out. The rehearsal is a large hall that holds over 300 people but we will have far less people in there. There will be a couple doors open allowing for a draft. I have purchased masks for those that would like to wear one. ***Please bring warm clothes as it will be a walk from the ceremony to the reception in October! ***The drive up to Cascade will be changed starting in October. Please allow for more time to get to venue due to Highway 55 being closed down or funneled through 1 lane around time of wedding. The alternate route is to head west on I 84 to Fruitland, through McCall and to Cascade.
