Pre-Departure COVID-19 Testing

Akumal Bay Beach & Wellness Resort offers in-house COVID-19 testing prior to departure. Here is info direct from the hotel: Test are taken by a recognized International Hospital & Laboratory Test results will be directly forwarded by the hospital to the clients via e-mail same day of test 24 hours max. All test are to be paid directly by guests to the lab, when doing the test. Test Prices: Antigens US$35.- and PCR Test US$90.- per tests. According to the CDC, at this moment, the Antigen Test is required to enter the USA. Guests can book the appointment for pre-travel testing through the laboratory staff at the hotel during the following hours: 09:00 – 14:00 15:00 – 17:00 **Passport info + email address required for result USA: Antigen Tests should be done ONE DAY before departure. The hotel has a shop on-site where you can rent snorkel gear if you don't want to bring your own.

Akumal Bay is a protected ecological reserve so the hotel asks that we use reef-safe sunscreen when swimming in the bay.
