Carly's older sister, the only person standing at the altar who has literally known Carly since her first breath. Some of Carly's fondest memories of high school include laughing to tears with Rae at the kitchen table while they tried, terribly, to get their homework done. Speaking of first breaths, the very cute baby Carly will be ogling over very frequently is David Stanley Miller, the first son of Rae and her husband Michael, born June 14, 2019! Fun fact: She won the "Right Stuff" award at Space Camp! Like, real, bonafide, NASA space camp.
Louise Brownsberger
Maid of Honor
Carly's younger sister, the one who made Carly who she is through loving sibling rivalry and endless support. They share a love for music (although Louise bests Carly in any singing competition), tv marathons, vine compilations (#ripvine), dominos pizza, and generally being weird the way only sisters can. The best co-Aunt a girl could ask for. Fun fact: Louise recently wrapped up a cross-country North American tour with Sasha Velour, the renowned Drag Queen! Louise did an incredible job as head of tech and audio-visuals, and Dan and Carly got the chance to see the show (along with Carly's parents and grandparents) when it came through Boston!
Alison Bowler

Carly's best friend from middle school and high school, who has seen Carly through pasta mountains, marathons of Whose Line is it Anyways and multiple made up languages and obscure accents. And of course, she has seen Carly through all of the trials and tribulations of puberty and adolescence - a daunting task, and she was the best person to go through it with. Fun fact: Carly and Alison both worked at the same company, on the same team, as their first jobs out of college! It sure makes jumping into the real world a whole lot easier when you've got your bestie by your side.
Emma Janeczko

Carly's best friend from college (Rah Rah Redlands!) and Big Sis in their sorority, Alpha Theta Phi. A resident of Maine since birth, Carly and Emma bonded over their love of New England and the Red Sox when they met. Carly's been in love with Maine since a camping trip in 2005, and Emma is a big reason Carly eventually made the move north! Well, and because Dan lived there at the time. Fun fact: Emma has not one, not two, but FOUR furry critters - Shaggy, Fozzie, Ellie, and Ziggy - that get all the love in the world from Emma and her husband Devin!
Bryndis Hafthorsdottir
Bridesmaid
As cousins with a fairly small age gap and only a few miles between each other, Carly and Bryndis have been close since childhood - performing plays for the family at Christmas, sharing crushes and gossip at sleepovers, and even performing in plays at Watertown Children's Theater back in the day when it was still at the Watertown Middle School! The miles between them have since increased, with Bryndis moving to Iceland and then the west coast, but the love has never faded. Fun fact: Bryndis is the reason that Carly does not dislike rats - Bryndis had a few of the smart little critters as pets in grade school, and they were the cutest sweetest babes.
