In October 2022, we met the same way any millennial meets these days; Bumble! However, we like to think we had some help from God in our meeting. Lyndsey was living in Columbus and Anthony in Youngstown, so meeting on a dating app would not have happened if we both weren't in Cleveland for a weekend. Lyndsey was at a Cleveland Browns game, and Anthony a Cleveland Indians game when we first matched. We lived 2 1/2 hours apart, so meeting up was not as easy as it sounds. Drawn together over a connection of faith and family as well as sports, we knew we had to meet. We met for dinner in December and the rest is history. Sporting events played a major role in our date nights and we have even been able to travel to seven states together! The distance was not easy, but we spent our weekends visiting each other and spent a lot of time with our families. Saying goodbye at the end of the weekends was hard, but Anthony always said "short term sacrifice for our long term goal" and that long term goal came on December 16, 2023 when Anthony proposed in front of our families. God has blessed us both and we are so excited to start this next chapter of our lives together! We can't wait to celebrate with all of our family and friends on July 5!
