Most of you already know this story, and four of you were there! When we met we were both with two of our closest friends, all of whom are in our bridal party (Taylor, Devon, Clay, and Kevin). We were at In Cahoots in Fullerton, which is ironic because Jake didn’t really like country music at the time and definitely does not line dance. When I saw Jake I immediately wanted to talk to him, I thought he was so cute. Taylor actually ended up dancing with him first and I was dancing with Clay! In the middle of the two step on the dance floor, Taylor switched with me (she’s a dancer and Jake has two left feet so she couldn’t handle it). We started dancing, which was more of me showing him how to two step, and then hung out the rest of the night until In Cahoots closed. We immediately clicked and exchanged numbers and talked every single day until our first date! I was so impressed with our first date, Jake took me to all you can eat sushi and then we went to Knott’s Scary Farm. On the first date, we had such an easy connection and it felt like we had known each other for a long time. We started dating within the month and talked about how much we wanted to eventually marry each other within weeks of knowing each other! Through every up and down of our relationship, Jake and I have known we were meant to be. When Hayden was born in November 2018, our love had even more purpose and we knew we wanted to build a strong family base for our son. We are so excited to finally be able to celebrate the union of our family with our closest loved ones!
