FAQs

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We encourage guests to arrive 15-20 minutes before the start of the ceremony to ensure enough time to park and find your seat.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Guests are invited to dress in festive formal attire. Suits or tuxes for men and full- or mid- length dresses for women that reflect the joyful spirit of the day! Most importantly we want you to feel comfortable and ready to hit the dance floor! With much of the reception being outdoors, please keep the weather in mind when choosing your look and consider leaving any shoes that might be difficult to walk in on grass at home.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! The church has a large parking lot adjacent to the building. For the reception, guests are welcome to park along the street throughout the neighborhood. If you or someone with you needs a spot closer to the house, please reach out to the couple and we will be happy to save one for you!

Question

Are the venues accessible?

Answer

Yes! The church is fully ADA accessible and has accessible parking spots available. The sanctuary has wheelchair accessible seating areas that our ushers will be happy to guide you to. The reception will be primarily outside on a mix of paved and grass surfaces. There is an ADA compliant indoor area and bathroom available with a ramp over the two steps needed to access it. Parking will be on the street but we are happy to reserve areas that are flat, roomy, and close to the house for anyone that needs them. Please reach out to the couple with any questions or concerns- we want to ensure all of our guests are able to have a fun and comfortable evening celebrating together!

Question

How can I help honor Bobby Grace at the wedding?

Answer

Thank you for helping us ensure the vibrant spirit of Mary Cayten’s niece and honorary flower girl is honored well at our wedding! We look forward to you helping us feel her presence with us that day. 1) There will be an opportunity at the ceremony for all kids in attendance to participate in honor of Bobby. Please stay tuned for more information! 2) Make sure to hit the dance floor hard at the reception as we have no doubt that’s what she would be doing! 3) If you would like to join us in remembering Bobby in the upcoming months, you can read her perfectly encompassing obituary and the beautiful eulogy shared by her father, donate to the scholarship fund in her name at the school she loved so much, or listen to the children’s album she inspired her mother to create while she was still here. Links to all are listed below. You can also join us in sending a smile and a hello to Bobby whenever you see a “red bird” (cardinal), both in real life and hidden in the details of the wedding. https://www.mynattfh.com/obituaries/bobby-brakesfield https://www.facebook.com/share/p/167qccj6HL/?mibextid=wwXIfr https://www.wku.edu/chf/bobby_grace/ https://open.spotify.com/album/6pqeiwABE2lIVVwTHZQG0m?si=V-Y23fDhTj-L1CCqQGOG1g
