FAQs

The Wedding Website of Lauren McAuliffe and Ryan Chen
If you have any other questions, other than what we've written here, please reach out to Lauren 0420 466 562 and I will do my best to answer for you!
Question

Gift registry?

Answer

Ryan and I have everything we need! Despite this, if you would still like to gift us something we will have a wishing well available on the day.

Question

Getting there?

Answer

The best way to get there is by car. There is ample parking at Leura Everglades House and Gardens, and at the Hotel Palais Royal. If you are travelling by public transport, Leura Everglades House & Gardens is a 25 minute walk from the train station. If you are taking this route, let us know and I'm sure we can find someone willing to car pool with you to the reception, and possibly pick you up from the station

Question

Dietary restrictions?

Answer

If you let us know in your RSVP, then the chef can cater for your dietary requirements. If you let us know after the RSVP date, unfortunately there's nothing we can do...

Question

Dress code?

Answer

We would love it if you could dress cocktail-formal (not casual).

Question

How do I send you photos?

Answer

If you've taken some photos on the day that you want to share with us we will ensure to leave a link or QR code on the day for you to use. We will definitely have a professional photographer though so we would love for you to be present and enjoying your time with the rest of our family and friends instead of worrying about capturing every moment for us. Should anything be posted on Socials, make sure to use the tag #FromMcToChen2026

Question

Can my kid/s come?

Answer

This is a child free event so, as much as we love your kids, please try and arrange for someone to care for them. If you're absolutely desperate, reach out privately to discuss and we will see what we can do.

Question

RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by Sunday Aug 9, 2026

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you are able to bring a date, you will have the ability to add a +1 when you go to RSVP. Please check to make sure you're significant other isn't already on the guest list first!

Question

Saturday Brunch?

Answer

No one is expected to stay overnight, however, if you have decided to make a weekend out of this, we would love to have brunch with anyone who will be in the area on Saturday morning. The details will be arranged after the RSVP date as we will need to know numbers. We will create a chat with those who let us know they are joining us again in the morning through their RSVP.
